Shawndel is a Livermore native; born and raised. Her love of art started as soon as she could hold a pencil in hand. The idea of capturing the life and stories around her on paper consumed her entire world. Never leaving the house without a sketchbook and pen.

Being raised in the family business of horse training, it was only natural that horses be the first subject for her to master. Having done that now there is no subject in which her skills cannot accomplish the likeness of.

Though her studies were of realism Shawndel likes to branch out and take her knowledge of multiple subjects to create the more fantastical and cartoon like imagery.

With this in mind Shawndel pursued a degree in graphic art at Fresno State University options in animation and multi-media. Graduating with honors she is now a freelance graphics designer located in her home town Livermore CA.
